Cwtching up for Autumn

My very first vintage fabric cushion cover. Chuffed to bits! A whole batch is on the production line… I have a Vintage Market coming soon at The Lanes, Bristol and hope to sell a few of these along with lots of clothes, cut coloured glass and other gorgeous gems.

Experimenting with making pockets for cushions. It feels so good to at last be taking the sewing machine for a spin!

A little test run of the oil paints. Ma John requested something bold and colourful for Chez John. Stan Rosenthal influenced. I have had the visual memory of the yellow gorse on vivid green hills on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast buzzing around in my head for the last few months. It was very satisfying to let this out!!

Note to self… Listen, yeah?! I have found the glory of spray paints and this helped make use of some rogue studio rubble.
