Being immersed in this, admittedly wonderful, city of Bristol one has to look a little harder to find those shifting changes in the seasons. This was taken a couple of weeks ago (on me mobile) in Castle Park while pootling through to Arnolfini for a meeting. I spent a few moments enjoying the contrast between such delicate, dusky pink, fresh blossom and the old and new industrial buildings next to the river.

Take a deep breath and keep eyes and ears open when rushing around.
And so to Cardiff! I certainly missed my home county on St David’s Day and heading over the bridge to see Daedelus last weekend was the perfect opportunity to get immersed in blankets of delicious daffs in Bute Park.
Colour floods the dormant beds and revived boughs… How very happy this makes me.
